The pioneering mobile app for Croatian audiobooks book&zvook was born from the customer's vision to make regional literature more accessible. Prior to the app's launch, Croatian speakers faced a void of such content, primarily available in foreign languages. Our task was to create an app to captivate readers with limited time and those who prefer listening over reading. In addition, we needed to develop a web application for client's seamless content management.
The engaging UX/UI design and overall functionality, ensuring an attractive and user-friendly experience, have been paramount for achieving a steady growth of users and downloads.Users can explore book&zvook editions, access free excerpts, build a personalized audio library, and enjoy a seamless reading experience across all devices. The app remembers progress, allows downloads for offline listening, offers speed adjustment, note-taking during listening, and easy book searches.
